Homer, for some reason your link to the Indian fans line above isn't showing. In any case, I know why I'm not going. Besides the expense (air tickets, overpriced hotels, tickets) it doesn't mesh with my work responsibilities - the WC is too spread out, both in time and space. Too many matches, too much guesswork involved in knowing who is playing where/when/how. We need a more compact World Cup.

Forget the time and the money, the islands don't have the infrastructure to cater to this huge influx of tourists during the WC.

I hear that there are not enuf rental cars or taxis in place, so ground transportation may become a problem.
