Watch. And learn

This one is for the Indian pace attack for the WACA test

Adieu!

Bonkers..

First this.Then this.
And now, a Delhi boy beats an intelligent and wonderfully articulate Mumbai boy to win the Clinic All Clear Dream Job contest.
What next? A Delhi opener replacing a Mumbai one?
Sometimes, I have a big question mark on God's sense of humor.
---
And on the topic of sense of humor, the South Zone selectors don't seem to have any. What else can explain Napoleon Einstein not playing for the South Zone team in the Duleep Trophy? I mean, come on!! A name like Napoleon Einstein should be an automatic selection, never mind his performance this season.
----
Finally, Perth.
And all the talk of a fast and bouncy wicket and a four pronged pace attack and chin music.
I actually welcome the fact that the wicket will be heavily loaded in favor of the bowlers. Because, unlike 1992, I would back the current Indian pace attack to be as effective, if not better than the Aussie bowlers.
And, for all the talk of chin music, let us remember that the Indians have two bowlers standing at 6'6". And that height is a huge advantage if the bowler is trying to extract bounce from a length or just short of.

So, bring on the chin music, coz chin music don't get no wickets... Good balls bowled in good areas do!

"I believe that one group was telling the truth".

reads a line in the official document detailing the ICC hearing that was handed to the Indians. Said line is attributed to Mike Proctor, former South African fast bowler and Match Referee for the India Australia series.

And with that, the matter stands before an Applelete commission.

And I am left wondering about the consequences if Harbhajan Singh is exonerated.

Will the ICC ban Ricky Ponting and Andrew Symonds for bringing the game to disrepute? And what about Mike Proctor?

And what are Bhajji's and Sachin's options in this case? Can they sue Ricky Ponting and Andrew Symonds and Mike Proctor for character assassination and slander?

Does cricket want to go down that path? Is this really such a "minor" incident as Ricky Ponting would like us to believe?

Questions, questions.

Lets put our hands together and applaud

Lets put our hands together for the Indian team for their courage and fortitude and their heart.. If this defeat crushes us, it will be worse for them..

Our boys battled and battled hard… Against the odds… And they showed character..

And as supporters, we cannot ask for more.

Whats the point of playing?

I thought this was a test match- A contest between two teams. Not a lottery where the odds are stacked in the favor of one team.

Ponting nicked one in the first essay and was not given.
Symonds nicked one and was stumped twice.

In the second essay, Hussey nicked one and was not given.

Rahul Dravid was given caught behind when the ball came off his pad.

And Michael Clarke claimed a bump ball catch ( bumped twice mind you, once before the ball rested in his fingers and second when he rolled over). And Saurav Ganguly was given out.

LBW's I understand.. They are judgment calls. But what about catches? And stumpings?

If the ICC cannot guarantee better umpiring standards for the rest of this series, India will be better off calling off this farce. There is absolutely no point continuing with this tour.
