India A agree to tour Kenya

Finally!!!! The A tour concept has been revived.

Sehwag,Harbhajan Singh, Mohammad Kaif, VRV Singh, Suresh Raina and Irfan Pathan are all likely to be called up for the India A team scheduled to visit Zimbabwe and then go for a tri-series in Kenya in July and August.

Asked whether these particular players, dropped from the senior side on form and fitness, will be put through the India A grind, Shah countered: “Why not? If they have no better cricket to play in these months, then it’s always good. Even the South Africa team that will be coming here will have some of their main players, so obviously our Board too would want some big names in the team.”

Each of them is an India prospect.And none of them are in the 30+ category..
And these are only 6 names out of a possible 15.. Thats 9 slots that are open for kids..
