But the images show otherwise.

About 10 years ago there was an ICC review undertaken about the dimensions of wicket keepers' gloves. Bob Taylor had something to do with it, and at about that time he mentioned it to Healy. nothing unfortunate about Dhoni getting caught - the unfortunate bit is that people entrusted with protecting and upholding the rules and regulations don't seemed to be clued in on them.

And that in turn speaks volumes of the role of the ICC.

Chade said...: From the pictures, only 1 (from other sources), 4 and 7 actually look illegal. The others don't have the webbing between thumb and forefinger fully extended apart from Gilchrist in 3 and Prior in 6 - and you can see the glove webbing is stretched tight.

When you say the webbing is stretched tight,isn't it also required that the webbing is flat when stretched or is there a degree of sag allowed?
