Thanks for the comments and welcome to the blog.

I am not convinced MSD is good enough to hold a regular place in the Test side ( Karthik and Parthiv's current woes notwithstanding). Also, having a keep batsman as captain is hard work - just ask Alec Stewert or Adam Gilchrist.

MSD as Test captain - a huge gamble by the selectors, especially if we are talking of MSD playing another 7-8 years.
