Good one. I wanted to see what this guy could do. Warne was right, he's pretty darn good. I love his action.

talent from heaven...?!

Amy,

So far so good... The real test will be his temperament and how he copes up when there are a few thousand baying for blood.

Thanks for your comments and welcome to the blog .

SP,

Too early to make that call.. A couple of seasons in the Ranji and we will know for certain.

From the replays, it looked like the batsman missed the line and was late on the shot. Still a good effort.

Krish,

beaten for pace? Can it get any better :)

Was that Akram in disguise ?? If the bloke can do this , let's say two balls in every innings he bowls - then we are onto something exciting.. and if I'm not wrong - he's not even 20 !

Homer said...

yup Tifosi Guy.. It will all depend on how he handles himself and how we handle him.

Samir,

Injuries will happen.. I hope he keeps his balance - too much fame too early can unhinge the best of them.

i think he doesnt turn into a munaf patel

Homer said...

Sam,

Actually, Munaf is not as bad as is thought - guy has worked on his fielding, has one of the better arms in the team and can both contain and attack with the ball.

saw his bowling yesterday - what do you think of his action? from side-on, I feel a bit uncomfortable about his arm.
