Abhishek Nayar pounds a 85 ball century as Mumbai take the first innings lead against Tamil Nadu.
W.V Raman on L.Balaji's comeback. The sooner the better. The sight of Balaji in Pakistan making the ball talk was a sight to behold.
And finally, MoYo faces an arbitration hearing a day before the first test. The timing could not be more opportune for Team India.
The BCCI owes the ICL bigtime!

Blessing in disguise. An unfit Akhtar, legally tangled Youhana (woops Yousuf) and a tentative skipper. India should pounce on hard....
a 2-0 shud be the scoreline before the kids and daddies board the plane to Auzzieland.........
ashu, homer
the weaker opposition is not always good for you as in my recent post i have expressed fear that it will not be the exercise india want before going for tough tour down under...
Pakistan aint a weaker opposition SP, what i mean by scoreline is the Pakistan team wont click with its collective brilliance. The individual brilliance is yet up there to see in Ys, Akhtar, Kaneria etc etc.
As a team, they need a collective go, which they lack and thay should aid India.
3-0 Ashu.. Anthing less is not acceptable :)
Malik talks of advantage with Pak on 3 coutns
1) last game win over India
2) new captain for India whereas he s the one leading frm long time.
3) psychological advantage.
Loosing a series 2-3 gives a physcho advantage ? Besides Kumble is an experienced customer and is leading Karnataka in Ranji games besides he plays in Delhi -- same venue where he took 10-for, Bangalore, his home ground and Eden Gardens -- his other fav ground.
so how come the advantage lies with Pak ?
Ashu,
Malik is given to making asinine statements - remember the "I apologize to all Muslims"..
While the win in the last ODI takes some gloss of off India, Malik will do well to remember the scorelines in the last Test series the two teams played - India beat England in England while Pakistan lost to South Africa at home :)
Cheers
